Meditation
Meditate for at 2-3 minutes a day. Meditation will help to calm your brain and help to control the unwanted thoughts to arise. If you are new to meditation here is simple steps which you can follow:

Step 1: Choose a quiet place where you won't get disturbed for at least 5 mins.Then,sit down nicely and comfortably on a mat or cushion with straight spinal cord. If you want you can even lie down as far as you don't fall asleep.You may even want to invest on meditating mat and calm music meditation DVD.

Step 2: Close your eyes.

Step 3:Then breathe. Just breathe naturally.
​
Step 4: Focus your attention on a breath, notice the movement of body in each inhale and exhale. Notice the movement of shoulder, rib cage and belly as you inhale and exhale.If your mind wanders return your focus back to breath.

In this manner starting with 2 -3 minutes you can gradually try it for bit longer period.
